Careers Programme – Preparation for Adulthood

Bents Green School regard Preparation For Adulthood (PFA) as important as academic learning achievements and is applicable to our students who don't access mainstream education at our Westfield Hub. Through this programme we hope to help every student be as prepared as possible for the next step on their pathway to adulthood. One part of this curriculum is to support students to make the most informed decision that they can about their future choices and career options, including highlighting and transitioning onto suitable post 16 options.

Our PFA programme involves the following stages;

Stage 1 – Encounter

Stage 2 – Experience

Stage 3 – Engage

Stage 4 – Employability

Each student will progress through each stage at a pace that is appropriate to their needs.

Stage 1 - Encounter and Introduction to Careers & Enterprise
